Get some tips for healthy weight loss

There are only a few exceptions where my 8 principles are not working for a permanent weight loss. Let me give you a few tips:

Watch the dirty Trans Fats

What you don’t eat is just as important to your waistline as what you’re eating. Studies have shown  that trans fat, which has been shown to increase the risk of heart disease and cancer, may also increase dangerous belly fat.

Trans fat is formed during a hydrogenation process in which vegetable oil is converted into a solid to increase shelf life of a food.

Weight loss and sleep

Studies have shown that those who get less than four hours of sleep per night are more than 70 percent more likely to be obese than those who get seven to nine hours. Sleep deprivation lowers leptin, a protein that suppresses appetite and tells the brain when the stomach is full. A lack of sleep also inhibits the production of insulin, which regulates blood sugar. So, if you’re constantly not sleeping enough, you’re interfering with your body’s ability to burn off extra fat.

 

Eat a healthy diet

A healthy diet is simply to eat a wide variety of  whole foods. This is important because different foods contains different nutrients.

Fruits, vegetables, grains, and legumes, foods high in fiber, vitamins, and minerals, low in bad fat, should make up the bulk of the calories you consume. The rest should come from greek yogurt, grassfed meat, organic poultry, and wild fish ( low in mercury, pcb ‘s)

Stress can affect your weight loss, so relax!

There are several ways in which stress can contribute to weight gain. One has to do with cortisol, a stress hormone. When we’re under stress, the fight or flight response is triggered in our bodies, leading to the release of various hormones. So a stressed person has hard time to lose weight.

Weight loss and your hormones

One thing’s for sure, a hormone imbalance will make it impossible to lose weight. Your hormones have a powerful impact on your metabolism, appetite, blood sugar control, even your ability to lose body fat.

If you exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, and still struggle to lose weight…it could be your hormones! so check them with a knowledgeable doctor.

Hire the right personal trainer

 Hiring a personal trainer can be great for your health and your weight loss goal. A personal trainer can:

  • Help you lose weight
  • Tone your body
  • Teach you to be healthy
  • Teach you nutrition and micronutrition

But personal training has a lot of unqualified and unmotivated people who claim they can train.

It’s important to hire a knowledeable  personal trainer (nutrition, weightlifting, supplements)and avoid the ones that are uneducated and unmotivated.
