Most nutritionist, doctors and personal trainers overlook the effects of hormones.

As a result, people try to eat less and excercise more.  This does not need to be the case.  Hormones are another very powerful tool in your natural weight loss.

Before we get into the fat burning hormones, I just want to go over what hormones can do in the first place.  Here is a brief primer on hormones and how they affect your weight and fat.

  • Huge increased intake of sugar
  • Refined carbohydrates
  • Chemicals
  • Xenoestrogens
  • Pesticides
  • etc.

Hormones regulate almost everything:

  • Heartbeat
  • Breathing
  • Blood pressure

According to medical authorities at least 10 hormones in your body are responsible for poor aging and weight gain. Some, like insulin, are crucial to many aspects of your daily living, while others, like sex hormones, are less critical, but they all affect how you:

  • High estrogen for men, estrogen/progesterone imbalance for women
  • High cortisol
  • High insulin

  • Suboptimal levels T3-T4 (thyroid)

This profile will result in insulin resistance, and will cause weight gain around the waist because your body will  store fat rather than burn it.

Fat around the waist will promote even more estrogen and more insulin resistance.
