How to treat depression without using conventional antidepressant treatments? 

More and more studies confirm that omega-3 can be effective in people with depression.
 Researchers have demonstrated the efficacy of supplements of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), fatty acid, for depression.
Previous studies had shown that a deficiency in omega-3 could predispose to psychological disorders such as depression. 
The efficacy of omega-3 on major depression is comparable to that seen with conventional antidepressants.
